WING to tlic impossibility of securing a suitable site for u Technical University, is has now been decided to erect a Public Monument in Wellington to the memory of the late Right lion, 11. J. Seddon. The monu-l ment is intended to be a National I Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants of New Plymouth and its neighbourhood will heartily support the movement. Subscriptions in any sums from one shilling upwards will be gladly received and duly acknowledged.
