VUlW'tl, IIOJUSS & CO.'S REPORT. WOOL, yivlX ANJJ HIDE ,SAUO. On Tuesday. March sth, wo held our monthly wool, skin ami hide sale, hold for tin: iirst time in our new buildings in J!l'L'u 11 street. Our catalogue showed a marked increase, and we were favored with a good attendance of the lea,ling buyers of this island. As usual, we sold hides at per lb., and having complied with the nccevsar.v preparation riquired of cty brokers, the condition of our hides was favorably commented upon by buyers. The bidding for sheep and woolskins was particularly spirited, fully maintaining Inst month's rates, and with the exception of one lot the whole of the catalogue changed hands. We would particularly urge upon clients, especially farmers, the necessity of keeping h'des clean and we 1 salted, as an immense amount of money is lost through indifference ill this growing industry. To improve I he method of those of inexperience we receiillv issued a circular, the compliance to which would lie advantageous :<) producers.
