Mr F. P.,Corkill returned to Now Plymouth from Wellington on Friday night. .Mr Felix McGuirc, of Obuawa, passed through iNew Plymouth last night en route for Auckland. Mr J. H. Quilliani, of New Plymouth, was a passenger by the express train from Wellington on Friday night. Mr W. F. Gordon returned to Now 'Plymouth /last night from a trip'to Auckland.' At Wellington yesterday morning, Mr Guidon Samuel, L.L.J!., a New Plymouth boy, and nephew of the Hon. Ol.ver Samuel, was admitted by Mr .1 Hit ice Cooper as barrister and solicitor, lie has studied in the office of Messrs I'indlay, Dalziell and Co. Key. Armstrong, who has been appointed second minister of the Primitive Methodist Church in New Plymouth, has arrived here from the East Egmont Mission. Ho is to he welcomed at a garden party in Mrs Bellringer's grounds at iutziuy next week, and at the same function Key. Doherty will take his leave. His new appointment is at Porirua.
