The annual 'sports held umlqr the auspices of the above club eventuated at Rahiitu yesterday, anil proved very successful. Eveyth.ng passed oil' without a hitch, save that the greasy p'g had to be re-caught, owing to tin- competitors not giving it Mart enough. -Mr Duggan as starter for the chops, Mr A. Guy for the races, and the judge*, Messrs Garcia, Guy, l'oynton (running), J. Young, J. i_'la"rk and M. L'oynton (chopping) did their work well, none of the decisions be ng questioned.
