At a thoroughly representative meeting held at Uanawatu A. and P. society's offices at Palmerston to-day, vigorous protests were made against the utter inadequacy of the railway rolling slock for tho conveyance of fat stock to freezing works. A deputation consisting „f Messrs L. j£. Jackson (FeilJing ludustrial Association), P. A. McMardy (Mauawatu A and P. Association), J. \V. Johnson (Palmerston Chamber of Commerce), J.
