Auckland, March 2. The Sierra arrived at noon. The delay was caused by the boilers working badly after leaving Honolulu. The steamer remained tcro days and seven hours at Pago Pago, during which the bailors were blown down and the valves repaired. Everything worked satisfactorily on the run to Auckland, the avorage rate of speed being 11 knots The Sierra leaves for Sydney to-morrow morning, and is limed to leave Auckland for San Francisco on March 18th. The Ventura follows on March 22nd. The Sonoma, on arrival at Sydney, will be the last boat of the present service, as the result of the Government ultimatum ro the carriage of mails. Il is rumoured that a new service, in which Spreckels is interested, will probably take up her running.
