DISPLAY OF PRODUCTS.

London, February 24. The King opened tile South African Products Exhibition in the Horticultural Hall, Westminister. He expressed satisfaction with the exhibition, as the result of the combination of the several South African Governments. The Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Agents-General, and an influential gathering were present.

King Edward, in a speech at the South African Exhibition, said "It is strong earnest desire that South Africa shall advance and prosper, and, relying on the cordial cooperation of all my subjects, I view with confidence the future of this great, interesting, important part of my dominions. The 'Exhibition is evidence that, rich as ■South Africa is in gold and diamonds., she possesses still more permanent sources of prosperity in tiie agricultural capacities of the sub-continent. The common action of xhe Governments is additional proof that it is essential to have unity in South Africa, t'ae realisation qf which is in every sense a subject near my heart."
