Capbtowk, February JU. At the Transvaal elections the Nationalists oleoted included Messrs W. Wyeburgb. and H. 0. Hull, former member for Sheffield.
An Independent won the Japportoivn scat, defecting Mr Cresswell, Nationalist.

WolmaraHs, a member of the Het Volk head committee, none of those nominated for the Upper House are prominent in politics. Tb.9 majority belong to the British side of the community. The composition of the Upper House is generally adversely criticised by the newspapers, who declare that the nominees aro nonentities und political pigmies.
