THE PAPAKAIO MURDER.
FINDLAY" FOUND GUILTY" OF BURGLARY. DECLARED AN I" HABITUAL." Per Press Association. Oj.ii.iiiu, February #i. At the Supreme Court, John Findlay, who was recently acquittod of the murder of A. JL Kennie, was to-day convicted of burglary and theft from Ilcumo's house at or about the time of | the murder, lie was sentenced to five years' imprisonment, and adjudged to be an habitual criminal, to be kept in custody during the.pieasurc of the Governor at the expiration of the sentence.

Jlackie, the receuliy appointed London representative of the combine'! dairy companies, met the directors and managers of eight Wairarapa companies, discussed with them a system to keep the London representative posted in respect to the probable output and prices al the commencement ot each season.
Mr Mackie addressed the meeting on the subject of unsalted and milkblended butter and a proposal by some companies to create dual butter and cheese plants.

The Chief Dairy Commissioner, Mr Cuddie, and the instuetor, Mr Singleton, arrived here to-day to superintend at Dalcficld the first shipment of coolcured cheese from the colony by the Toiigariro.
