Owiug to the inclemency of the weather, there was but a moderate attendance at the sports oil Wedne.'pay.j The tug-oj-wail,—married versus sin.-i gle men, caused great excitement, being won by the benedicts, in the guessing competition, Midi's T. Harrison and J. Parsons tied, guessing the correct weight viz., 103 lbs. The sum ot £lO 5/ was taken at the gates, in addition to which 50 members tickets were sold.
