The season of Wirtli ltros'. (..'ileus and Menagerie will commence on the ground next the Railway Station on i'Viday, February 22. The bliow comprises seven diU'erent shows in one. The opening act, and spectacular procession representing the Delhi Durbar, comprises elephants, camels, buffaloes, sacred cattle, etc., and a host of attendants in Oriental garb. The programme includes twenty-seven acts, twenty of which are new here. Messrs. . Wirth Bios, have brought with them an exceedingly large menagerie. This will be located in a, tent next to the Circus Tent a,iuj arrnngoine.MjS have) been made ifor a complete inspection hy the visitors of the various animals. In addition there is a museum of animal curiosities, including an extraordinary hybrid and zebrule. in the ring, which is conveniently situated, so that all can Bee. will be' Playmate, a pony 13 hands high, which has a world record for a pony of a jump of Oft Sin, and Maori, a New Zealand pony, whose record is lift si.n. A number of New Zealand bred horses nnd seven elephants go through a number of military evolutions. The aerial act of "The Flying Herberts," "The O'Biicn Sisters." nnd "The Comets" are said to bo exceptionally daring. In the equestrian department the circus is ?x----eeedingly strong.
