SERIOUS QUARRY ACCIDENT.
Per Press Association. Triune, February 18. A young man named Tom Vincent. only three months married, was badly injured by the premature explosion of a quarry blast this afternoon. He was tamping a horizontal bore with clay, using au iron rod, while his tiituer, Alfred Vincent, supplied the cay. boon after tamping began, the charge exploded, blowieg young Vincent and a block of stone about a ton weight half a chain away. One of his ,*r logs was shattered, and his othor limbs *» and head badly hurl. Hi, father was cut about tho scalp and face, and bruised about the limbs. Another son, who was whirled round the engine sh,.4t at the quarry two or three weeks ■igo, is recovering.
