SWEPT AWAY IN A MESH. THREE AICTRIANS MISSING. Per Proas Association. Auckland, February 10. lnlormnlion reached town by the ss. Chelmsford last night, that an Austrian camp at Great Barrier Island had been washed away, and three of its occupants arc missing. A freshlitf undermined tho camp, which without warning was engulfed ill tlio swollen torrent. lour Austnans were in the eamp at llie time, aud all wero prceipated into the stream. Three were carried away, and it is feared were drowned. The i fourth managed With dilliculty to reach the bank and struggle out of the water. Tho names of the meu are not yd available.
