A j£rea.;t many excursionists left Christchurcii by. special fain, but worts not favoured with yowl weather, vain falling persistently. The lake was not rallied, but the water was given, with a strong odour; otherwise it was excellent for racing. The following are results:— .Maiden Dopiblo Seulla.—Akaroa 1, Christchurcii Amateurs 2, Star 3. Champion Fours,—VVauganui 1, Pieton ■>, Blenheim 3. youths' Fours.—Canterbury 1, Star 2, Oamaru 3. Wonby 18 inches. Junior Double Sculls.—Union 1, Akaroa 2, Ijyttelton 3. .Won by si length. Champion Double Sculls.—Akaroa 1, Canterbury 2, Star 3. Won ea»y. -Uaiilen Fours.—Blenheim 1, Canterbury 2, Lyttelton 3. V/im by a bar# length. \outlis' Double Sculls.—Canterbury 1, Chnatchurcn Amateur 2, Union 3. Won, very easily. Champion Pairs.—Akaroa 1, Blenheim 2, Wanganui Union 3. Woa by hfly yards, the third boat being soy yards behind. Star fouled Canterbury, Junior Fours.—Blenheim 1, Star 2, Unon (Chitistchurch) 3.
