MISSING BRIDEGROOM.
VANISHES A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. Loudon, December 24. A mystery still to be unravelled sui'rounds the disappearance from Birmingham of a well connected young man a few days before the date of Ins marriage. lie is stated to have had no known troubles, his finances were good, and he always showed the greatest af feetion for his sweetheart. The circumstance of the disappear antes was told by several of bis relatives and friends to a Daily Mail representative on Saturday. ' Mr Cecil Horace Beech Marsh," twenty'four years of age, has for some time acted as Birmingham manager of the Birmingham branch of a Loudon firm. He was in receipt of a good salary, and did not live up to his income. Some tine ago, iic became engaged to a young lady of good position in Birmingham, the [of! friend.- of his family, and the marriago wa.s fixed for December 15. On Do c-ember C Mr Marsh saw h's sweetheart and parted from her on most friendly terms, promising to see her again the following evening. The next day, after spending the morning; at his oliicc, he went to Olton, Warwickshire, to lunch with an aunt, return ing to his office, which he left about 7 p.m. From that moment nothing has been sceu or heard of him. In the afternoon of 'that day his sweetheart received a shost note regretting that he could not see her that evening, but -•lying that he would see her oil Saturday, however, as he did not appeal', Siis sweetheart's relations made enquiries and, realising that something unusual had happened, communicated with the police. Tiie latter, after making enquiries all ovei- the country, have been unable to find any clue.
