AN ATTEMPTED OUTRAGE. St. Petkbswiki, February i"3. An infernal niachiuc. with clockwork timed to produce an explosion within twj hours, was found in an unligbted sfore near the Count and Couutcss de Witte's bedroom. Ten political prisoners in St. Petersburg escaped by utilising an enamel cup and teapots and excavating a cornier 21 feet leadiug to u dwelling. Two were captured.
