Tra Maoris are planning with much enthusiasm detail of their defence ot 1 he pa against nil attack by the Volwhich is to be a feature of the military tattoo on Friday night, ihe -whole of the bands competing in the present contest will take part in the lattoo, and the performance by tiie massed bands and 'the torchlight procession of 000 bandsmen, together with Volunteers and Cadets, should have a most picturesque effect. Today's attendance reached the high total of 18,008.
