TUBERCULOSIS INFECTION

Tlic second interim report of the Royal Commission, including the late Sir W. B. Foster, .VI.D., declares thai tko result of elaborate experiments show that bovine animals and man can be reciprocally infected by tuberculosis. Cows' milk containing bovine tubercule bacilli, clearly cause tuberculosis in man. A very large proportion of tuberculosis is contracted from tubereole bacilli of bovine origin. The report states that more stringent measures are required for the inspection and sale of milk.
