An interesting story of a dog comes from tiie small township of JJorwcll, in Victoria. A young man nam-'Ji Charles Holmes, who lives with uis brother on a farm libout two milcsv, from WorweljL. took his lioivw and cart to go for a loud of wood. As he did not return home that day, lus brother went out, next day (Friday) to see if he could find "niiu. He came across the hoi'sc grazing in the padduck, and a little further on he found the 'dray, in which were a few slicks of wood. Hn dog came home in the morning, and led" the wav to where his masler was asleep in the bush. When awakened, Holmes said he had been wandering about for three days ami was hungry. Otherwise he was all right.
