The German Note describes him as a brigand, a notorious criminal, dishonouring the Sultan's prestige. The incident, owing to Germany's intervention, causes a sensation. - (Germany has demanded flic punishment of Fehhn Pasha, who is Chief of the Secret Police at Yikliz, for extortion and the seizure of a cargo of timber aboard a British ship destined for Hamburg.
