A FATAL ASSAULT
AN AUSTRIAN ARRESTED. Per Press Association. Auckland, January 28. At the Police Court to-day, an Austrian named George Peear was charged with assaulting Michael lliee, so as to cause him actual bodily harm, The injured mau was knocked down on Saturday night by one of a number of Austrian!, alleged to bo the accused, and has since died from his injuries. His depositions were Ukon, and a moro serious.charge may follow.
