Becerved 27, 1.57 p.m. New Tf obk, January 26. p Owing to the scarcity of labour, the United States Pennsylvania Eailroad Company is advancing the age limit for applicants for employment from 35 to 40, |20,000 WANTED FOE CANADA. Ottawa, Jonuary 26. It is officially stated at Ottawa that contractors in Canaaa will require 20,000 men for railway construction during the present year.
