XULVL OF THAW COMMENCED. New York, January 24. I'wu hundred jurors were summoned for tile trial, but only two were em pannelled. Yesterday there were 38 objections, the prosecution insisting that jurors must return a verdict in, on the written Jaw. and not lie inlluenced by tile so callled unwritten law of private vengeance. [Thaw, a millionaire, who seot Stan ford White because of the hitter's attentions to his (Thaw's) wife,-declin-ed to plead temporary insanity, and his lawyers now propose to convince the jury tiiat the murder was justified under the circumstances.]
