A strong new reef showing splendid gold is freely reported tit the extreme No. 1 level, and is believed to be a eontinuation of tlio remarkably rieii stone recently found in No. 7 level. flic distance between No. 1 and 7 levels is about 7i>o feet porpemlicular, and a very largo block of stone of much value is now indieatated. No 7 level is still being driven north on tlio reef which continues to Widen and is verv rich. It is intended to extend No. 10 level for about 200 ft. uortli, to eonie tinder the lmc of the new reefs in No. 4 and 7 levels. The indications are good, I and should tlio new reef live to this depth, some years crushing will bom sight on rick stoue.
