EAST INDIAN ARCHIPELAGO VISITATION. HUNDREDS DROWNED. Received 13th, 5.19 p.m. London, January 12. llv a disastrous wave, caused by a submarine disturbance, three hundred pcrstns were druwncd at Tanah Island, off the coast of Sumatra. Forty others ■sick drowned at Puis, Babi Island.
