ANTWERP WOOL SALES. Received 9th, 9.7 p.m. Antwerp, January 9. There was a good attendance, at the Antwerp sales, which were fairly animated compared with November. Me linos made from par to 5 centimes advance. Common crossbreds and irregular line crossbreds rose 10 centimes.
DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORT. Per Press Association. Dunedin, January 9. Oats.—The market is almost bare ol consignments, and all good top prime feed lots arriving are readily quotei, at prices which show a slight improve
ment on late values. The demand for milling lines bus improved. Prime milling 2s 2d to 2a 2y 2 d, good to best feed 2s Id to 2s 2d, inferior to medium Is Del to 2s per bushel, sacks extra Wheat—The market is quiet, ami values for milling qualities arc- unchanged. Millers are only operating in prime quality, of which there is little oll'ering locally. Medium sorts are still neg'lecteH; fowl wheat is scarce. Prime milling 3s 4d to 3s sd. medium to good 3s 2%i to 3s 3'/ a d, ; whole fowl wheat 3s to 3s 2d, broken and damaged 2s i)d to 3s. i
BURNSIDE STOCK REPORT. 1 I'ev Press Association. Dunedin, January 9. Fat Cattle.—los head yarded. A few were prime heavy bullocks, but the majority medium steers, cows and heifers. The yarding was in excess of requirements and consequently bidding wa very slack, prices showing a drop of las to £1 a head on last week's prices. Extra heavy bullocks sold up to £ll, prime XX) to £lO, me dium to good £7 to £8 10s, light £4 5s to £0 10s, best cows and heifers .tG 5s to £7 ids, medium £5 to £;> ss, light £3 las to £4 10s. Fat Sheep.—The market was well supplied with 1008 head, the majority being ewes. The yarding was bevond requirements. ere easier, but suckers unci small pigs were firm at late rates. Suckers sold at 12s (Jd to las, slips 10s to 195,, stores 25s to 28s, porkers 32s to 38s, light buconcrs 42s to 455, heavy 48s to 545.
LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received 'the- following cable from their London house dated the 7th iust.:: Wool.—The list of arrivals is elos eel. The new arrivals have amounted to 274,000 bales, of which 125.000 bales have been forwarded direct to maim fuctnrcrs at Home and abroad, leaving 151,500 bales available for sale. This includes 2000 bales carried forward from November sales. Market is firm and tending upwards.
LONDON MARKET ADVICES. Dalgety and Company Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cables from London, dated 3rd instantsFrozen Meat—Prices for mutton unchanged; market dull. Reef (sides) lower by y 4 d. per lb. Australian lamb, prime, 32/ -10 lbs. 5y 8 d to 5%d. Poor demand for pork, llm l decrease in prices has not improved the demand. Up to the end of March ex'P,Het prices wdl continue at about 41/.IL. or more.
Butter.—Market unsettled. The Copenhagen official quotation in unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 2'Jth December amounted to .58,000 cwt. as compared with 70,000 cwt. for the eorrespondiii" week of 11)05.
