The reciprocal Customs treaty between South Africa and New Zealand. has boon gazetted. It provides that duties on goods the produce or manufacture of New Zealand, importeit to the South African colonies (Capo Colony, Natal, Urangia, the Transvaal, and Southern Khodcßia) shall be—beans Is, hour, 2s 3d, oats is- 10J, wheat Is per cental. Butter, 2d per lb, cheese 12- per cent ad meats, d per )u; all other goods, exgoods ecept spirits 25 per cent- less than the duty which would otherwise paid; duties on goods or manuiacstures produced in the South Africans colonies and imported to New Zealand shall be—feathers, IS per cent ad valorem; fish, l'/jd per lb; fruits, dried and green, free; maize, tid; sugar, Is Sd per cental; tea. not otherwise exempt, Id per lb; wines, other- than, sparkling, 2s per gallon; all other goods except spirits 25 per cent less than the- duty which wolud otherwises be paid.
