MANUFACTURERS' PROTEST. j Losnos, December 21. A depltation from the London Chamber of .Commerce waited on Mr Taverner, Victorian Agent-General, and complained of the injustice of

being obliged to disclose patent trade secrets tinder the regulations of the Victoria Pure Food Act. Mr Taverner replied that neither the Act nor the regulations require disclosure of detailed formulae. The only statement by the label is whether the drugs contain ingredients mentioned in the regulations. Disinfectants require detailed instructions for use.
