' Mr Metcalfe, Minister for Commerce,, in the course of reports sub-' nutted to -Congress, shows that there were only 93 Japanese children attending the schools in San Francisco. They are clean, bright, and well-be-haved, and, since they are scattered over the city, it is impossible for them to attend single schools.
