PROPOSED ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.

Hawera lias lieen reconstructed, and becomes Stratford. There are three new olectorals:— Tauinaranui, Tauranga., and Wellington Suburbs.

in the South Island, Waikouaiti, Courtenay, and Tuapcka disappear, and Cavershani becomes Dunediii South.

In last Parliament, the representation of each Island was equal. The readjustment of boundaries now gazetted provides lor the North Island having six more scats than the South island.

The Stratford district comprises the North and East riding of the Stratford County, and the (ilium riding, less that portion lying east of the Tangaiakau River, together with that portion of "the South riding lyim.' j east of a, line along the Cheat road from the southern boundary of the county to the Skinner road, and along Skinner road to Jiird road, and lying north of Hird road and Brookes road, and also that part of Ngatiinaru riding of the Clifton County lying south of the Waitara River and the .Mangaone Stream, and the Mon, riding of the Taranaki County, less that portion included in the existing Taranaki electoral district.

The borougbs of STRATFOKD and INULEW'OOi) are also included in this district. IAUAXAKL The Taranaki district comprised the Omata. riding of the Taranaki County, together with that part of the lioa, riding in the existing 'Taranaki electoral district; the Ilcnui and Kginont road districts of Taranaki County, and that part of the Waitara West road district not included in the new Tauniaranui district, and that part of the Kahotu riding of the Egniont County lving north of the Newall road, and also the borough of NEW. PLYMOUTH.

EGJIONT. The. Egmont district comprises the Oeo and Opunake ridings of the Egniont County, and that jiart of the Hahotu riding lying soutli of the Newall road, together with the West riding of the Ktratford County, and that part of the .South riding lying west of a line along Clieal road from the southern boundary of the county to .Skinner road, and along .Skinner road to ilird road and lying south of tiird road and llrookes road, also the whole of the Jillthani County; that part of Mokoia riding of the liaweiu County lying north of the Tarere road to the Mere ilere road; along the .Mere Mere road to Tiki road, and that road continued westerly a the boundary of the. riding; that part of the Jlawera riding lying north east of the Alangainingi Stream and Austin road; that part of Ukaiawa riding lying north of the Nonnanby road, excluding the township of Ukaiawa and the Waimate riding, less the south-western portion lying soutli of Nonnanby road and west of the Jlanaia road and Sutherland road, excluding the township of .Uanaia from this district. The borough of ELTJJA.M is also included in this district. PATEA,

Palea district comprises the County of Patea, together witli the County of Waitotara, less those portions of Hruumvick and Westinero ridings included in the existing Wangaiiui electoral district, and also those parts of the Mokoia, llawcra, Ukaiawa, and Wirimato ridings of the llawera County not included in the Eguiont district hereinbefore described.

The boroughs of IIAWEUA and PATEA are also included in this district. TACILUII-MJI. The Tauiuaruuui district comprises the counties of Jvawhia, Waitomo and Awakino, together with that part of West Taupo County lying south of a right line from the source of the Ongaruho Hirer to .lake Taupo at tlie mouth of tile Waihora (Stream; that part of East Taupo County lying west of the Tokuanu-Waioru road; that part of Waiinarino County lying west of the Tokaanu Waioru road, and also the Mokau, Urciuii. Tikoi'imgi, and W'aihi ridings of the Clifton County; | that part ot Xgatnuaru riding lying north of the W'aitara Hirer and the .\iungaoue Stream, and that part of W'aitara West road district of Taranaki County lying east of Richmond road, and the road from Matnitawa to l.epperton, and the continuation of that road northward and westward to the railway line, and along the railway line to the boundary of the road district, excluding the townships of Mekailawa and Eeppctton, and in- I eluding that portion of the Ohura riding of the Stratford County lying east of the Taugarakau Hiver. This district also includes tke bo.-, rough of .WATTAHA.
