Per Press Associaiton, Wellington, December 18. Three thousand and twenty bales .Were catalogued for the first, wool ' Bale ,to-day, the quality being an improvement on the former year. The ' highest price obtained was 13'/id for ' three lots of crossbred hogget. Generally, halfbrcd advanced a. penny, fine crossbred l%d, and strong crossbred S'/id, as compared with the WO.'i December sale, halfbrcd ranged lOd to 12'/,d, fine crossbred lOd to strong crossbred 9%d to 13d.
