It would appear that the unfortunate man was thrown by the impact clear of the train, landing heavily on the back of his head. The driver pulled the train up with great promptitude, and the injured man was conveyed on a stretcher to A'orinauby, where a doctor was sent for. When the train left he was unconscious, and but the slightest hope was entertained for his recovery. it is stilted that the driver of the train was hi no way blameable for the lamentable' occurrence.
