PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.
1 The usual monthly: meeting of the 5 I'arihaka Road Board Was held on t Wednesday, ivheu there were, present Messrs Rothery (chairman), Willed* \ Cccgan, O'Rorke, and J. Young. The following matters arising out of the foreman's report were deait with::Lower Waiteaka Road.—lt was re-" solved that a bridge be built oil tjiis road to replace the present dangerous Pungarelm Road.—lt was resolved to form about 20 chains of this road vl near Jir Harvey's, and also to write ' to the I'llblic Trustee abottt the ■ gorge on native sections. A l ,"area Road.—Certain work Vfts rccon.me.ulcd for this road, but as thf rates are ever-expended considerably, it was resolved to write aiid ask the ratepayers to special rate themselves, « -Ngariki Road.—Messrs Willeox, O'Rorke, and the chairman were appointed a committee to arrange about the expenditure of the new £3IG loan 011 this rend.
