Loxdox, December 11. Owing to the strontr opposition, the proposal that the Amateur Swimming Association should send a representative to compete in the Australian championships has been withdrawn. Adelaide, December 12. Biilington, of England, the champion swimmer ot the world, arrives on January Ist, and will give exhibitions of swimmirg throughout Australia.
