A LOVER'S CRIME. ;■ £ New York, December ll,' Chester Gillette was sentenced to electrocution at Herloner, New York, for the murder of his sweetheart while boating on Big Moose Lake. A pathetic incident at the trial was that his mother, in order to obtain money for her son's unavailing dejfence, acted as reporter at the trial for a Denver newspaper, and described an interview with her son in his cell.
