Gahan, A. Allen, C. S. Kelly, W. Amesworth, J. Woods, M. Ward. The season opened on the Oth November with a very wet day, and has been attended with more or less showery weather since. Still, the list of visitors is steadily increasing. The total rainfall at the house from November. Ist to December fitli is |37.«8 inches, and although the wot weather has impeded the progress of work outside, the custodian has improved the occasion by having the house thoroughly cleaned and painted in all parts. This makes the rooms bright and- comfortable for visitors. The ne\v cooking range is now in position, and ready for use, and this will certainly be a great convenience to visitors.

Mr Murray is having a small hut, 12 x ](>, built for \)n: nwii working on Mil'- ,Str«tforil' mill Bell's Falls track ut an altitude of about hve thousand fi'i't, These tracks will develop from foot to horse tracks, and visitors will Ins able to see the best scenery on the mountains without much fatigue or danger. The track from the ratlins line gap is greatly improved, and in splendid order. The cottage has already been booked by parties for a considerable term, and but a very few weeks' lure arc now available. Intending visitors should lose no time in booking their dates. Full, particulars may be obtained from the chairman or the secretary in town.
