Mr M. Ilarkness, of Midhirst, was on Thursday married to Hiss Millie Lawrence, of Stratford.
Mr J. C. George, President of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, was unable, owing to illness, to attend Friday night's meeting. He is, however, gradually improving in health.
[ We regret to learn that there is no improve.ment in the health of Mr C. Rennell, the secretary, of the Harbour Board.
