RECREATION GROUNDS BOARD

A meeting of the Recreation Grounds Hoard was held on Thursday evening lit the ollice of Mr ('. |\ Corkill. There were present: .Messrs I'. P. Corkill ([-hah-man), C. \V. Govett, W. 1.. Xevnian, 1!. (_'. lluehes, It. Cock, I). lliilchen, and W. A. Collis. A letter was read from the Colonial >-<-,-elarv stating that the Governor had been pleased to appoint .Mr Uichanl Cock as a member of the Board. Applications will be invited for the use of the lea-room tiring the summer months, and the chairman will deal with the mailer.
