HERR BEBEL'S ACCUSATIONS. DISORDER IN THE REICHSTAG. Bebli.v, December 3. In the Reichstag, Herr Bcbel further declared that special efforts had been made to shield Dr. Peters, the founder of German East Africa, and Herr Puttkamer. He accused Counts Ton Arnim-Eriewen (who recently became Prussian Minister for Agriculture), Kardoff, and Arent of corruptly abiuing their positions as deputies in order to bring down oflicials who had been too actiyely probing into colonial scandals. The statement caused great disorder in the Reichstag. Herr Bebelrefused to withdraw. Count Arent denied the accusation. FURTHER SHOCKING DIS- I CLOSURES.
A STORMY DEBATE. Beceiyed 4,10.28 p.m. Beeu.v, December 4. More shocking Colonial horrors were described in the Reichstag, and a stormy debate ensued. Herr Dernberg protested against the creation of an impression that the Colonial officials were mere beasts.
