Although Dr. Herbert was aiivsted on a variant issued on the woman's statement, it seems he was a victim of the precious pail. Subsequent investigation by tne police 'ed them to brieve that Osbronh, countiy villa was being used for some nefarious if not murderous work., and the allegation regarding the missing man Jefquiries is not sutptising.j
