REGISTRATION OF DAIRIES. LARGE INCREASE. During the la-t two sessions there have been about two hundred registrations of new dairy factories, creamerie-, and private dairies in this colony, which give unmistakable proof of the great development of the industry. Since March last eighty-five factories and piivate dairies have been registered. Taranaki sho'ivs tne greatest development in this direction with about thirty-six new registrations, Auckland province comingnext and Otago and Wellington in order. Over a dozen new cheese factories have been added to the list, these being situated principally in O-tago and Southland.
