DALGETY'S REPORT. At our last fortnightly sale of wool, skins hide and tallow there was a small attendance of buyers and comptition was rather spiritless. We quote :

Wool: Only bag lots offered. Fine crossbred iod, dead fleece Sd tj Sjj-1, stained pieces 4l|d. Skins: The market was firm at late rales, with the exception of butchers' giean skins, wiiicit were lower by 2d or 3d eacii. We (jus.to : Fine crossbred yjd 10 yjjd, medium SJd to yd, eoar-'C 7|cl to S.|d, hogge.s /Jd, iamb's GJd to 6id, dead ?d tj /}d green 8,4 to 8/8, lamb's, green, 1/10 to 2 3, pehs 22. Hides were firm for prime sorts, but ealf skins were lower by 2d per lb- We cjuote: Ox> medium, &2lbs to (x;lbs, 6jd, light, 55lbs to Colbs, Gjjd to bjd, cows, medium, 43 lbs to so.bs, 6Jd to Jjd, calf skins Gijd to ;d.

Tallow, ill tins, 20/3 per <l,vt. The fallowing cables have been received from London, dated the 22nd instant:—

Wool: Greasy good Merino wools have sold at 15 to 20 per rent ab tv prices luling in Xovciu ,«r sales :as year. American buyers arc the principal operators. The' new arrivals have amounled to 121,0uj bale-, of which been forwarded direct to manufacturer., at Hijme and abroad, leavirfg 107,500 bales available for sale. This includes Sgoo bales carried forward from September series.

Frozen Meat. Prices remain unchanged. Business is interfered with owing ta high prices asked by owners.

Butter: Market weak, and the Copenhagen ofticia! quotation is lower by f«ur kroner (about 4,6) per owl. The fuiure of the market is difficult t'j foiccast. Il will mainly depend on th<- action of the speculators. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the <ueek ending the i/th inst., amounted to 60,000 cwt., ,ii c impaled <v.ith 61.000 cwt. for the corresponding period of I^os.
