HALF-YEARLY REPORT. Received 24th, 12.53 a-ni-Sydney, November 23. At the haf-yearly meeting of the Bank of New South Wales, the net profits were shown at £130.115, to which has to be added ,£22,618 from the preceding half-year. A dividend of 10 per cent was declared, £25,000 added tothe reserve, and £27,733 carried forward. The chairman said the pastoral and agricultural interests in the country were in a very flourishing condition, and the prospects pointed to a very favourable seaion. He referred with regret to the burning of the Bank's new premises in Wel'ington. He expected they would be able to pay for the restoration of the interior out of insurance money.
