PER PRESS ASSOCIATION* Stratford, November 23. T"o Wanganui Methodist Synod concluded its sessions here to-day. It was resolved that in view of the urg. cnt need of church extension "roughout the colony, and the cmbarrassed state of the Ho me Mission funds, the Synod pledges itself to raise one shilling p or m( , mber throughout the district in addition to th« ordinary contributions, with a vio\v to all circuit and Home Mission stttions throughout New Zealand falling into line.
