A meeting of directors was held on Tuesday evening. Mr W. G. Malone, representing the committee set up to secure tho re-1 presentation of Taranaki at the International Exhibition, asked the directors to have the model derrick ~ made as promised for the Taranaki 3 court. The matter was left in the nands of two of the directors. a Transfers of snaics were appoved, r and 77 new applications for contna buiing shares were received and accepted. s it was decided to put the balance e of gb'oo contributing shares on tne ~ market for application, and the apc plication list will be closed when the-e nave been applied for. This will c make the total issue of contributing j. snares 40,000, leaving 24,000 in the n hands ol the company. c A general management committee and committees to deal wuh acr counts , transfers and applications 5 for shares were appointed. h a During Mr Fair's illness, MiBerry, chairman of directors, is supi- orintending operations at tne Petros leum Company's bores.
