A NEGRO DESPERADO.
SHOT BY HIS PURSUERS. Now Yok. November 17. Harris a negro desperado, who killed five and wounded a dozen people at Ashville, North Carolina, escaped to the woods. He wa- pursued by b'.ootlhounds, but refused to surrender. After firing all his cartridges he folded his arms and awaited a volley from his pursuers, which killed him.
