BRITISH CAMP FOREWARNED. FERRIERA'S BOAST TO GERMAN COMMASDER Received 14, 10.41 p.m. Capetown, November 11. The German coniuiander at Klip, dam informed the British camp at BissgesDoort on the 6th that Ferriera had intimated to the commander his intention to start a rebellion, adding that arras and ammunition taken from Germans would be returned in a fortnight.
BRUSH WITH THE REBELS. BOTH PARTIES RETIRE. Received H, 10.41 p.m. Capetown, November 14. Inspector White's patrol of forty came in contact with Ferriera fourteen tniles eastward of Upingtcn. After half an hour's firing, Ferriera retired to the bush, and White returned to Ipington, owing to temporary illness.
TWO ADDITIONAL RAIDING COLUMNS. STEPS TO INTERCEPT THEM. Receiyed 14,10.11 p.m Capetown, N jvember 24. A start was made yesterday to intercept a second party of freebooters from the German border. A third party is advancing on Kakamas. Raids are expected at Vanwykssolei, Brandulei and Blockyknkelk, where there are quantities of unprotected stores, besides much harvested grain. Gauds haye been posted at Kakamasdrift to arrange for the interception of any attempt of the raiders to return to German territory.
