To the Editor. Sir,—l am with "Shareholder"' every time in trying to get at the bottom of the trouble between Mr Laing, the late secretary, and the directors of the Taranaki Petroleum Company. Is it true that he "stands woL' with a certain section of the dirfctoia.e. and that he h;y.l alreadydecided on the clique which s'.iould rece.ve those ,Soo votes which he operates by prosy r Is it true that one ot the said clique is a sharebroker and a par.icular crony of Mr Laing's? Little tlv.ngs like this want a lot of explaining before the late secretary's can idaltue will get my support.—l am, etc., ANTI-GAS.
