Tne Rev. A. Don, Chinese missionary, was unanimously elected Moderator for 1007-8. The members cf the assembly were entertained at a garden pirty in the First Church grounds iu lite afternoon by the Rev. Dr. aud Mrs Nisbct. To-day the pulpits iu anil around the city were occupied by visiting ministers, the Rev. Mr Munrn, m-jderator, preaching at the Knox Cliurch.
