Breeders who are holding back for the Christmas week sales should remember that if all adopt the same plan there will be a siump in prices then consequent on over-supply. NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT, At the liaymarket on Saturday there was a largo entry of pigs, and all sold at good prices. Sma:l weaners made // to n/, good do. 12/ to 20/, stores 33, to 4b/'. At the Mart there was a large demand for poultry. Ducks made 2/ to 2/3, hens 1/9 to 2/3, roosters 1/10 to 2ji, chicks 3d to 711, ducklings 1/3. A quantity of furniture and sundries made ordinary prices. Fruit has been in very short sup-

At Stony River on Wednesday there was a good yarding and nearly everyth'ng sold at satisfaoctory prices.
